Keiko Necesario recalls big moment at PhilPop, reveals quarantine song from latest album

Sep 30, 2020

In 2012, Keiko Necesario got the chance to be part of the 1st Philippine Pop Music Festival. She considers it “really big” moment.

That was also the moment where the great Ryan Cayabyab noticed and praised her.

After 8 years, Keiko is one of today’s most listened folk-pop singers. People recognize her music now.

Her most listened song is her version of “Let Me Be The One,” soundtrack for Alex Gonzaga’s 2018 movie.

I guess what makes her tunable is that she’s real, raw, and relatable. Her music speaks to a lot of people. When she sings, it’s like she opens her whole heart.

She also writes music very well. Her latest works are “Ready, Let Go,” “See You,” “Dangerous,” “Go On,” “Smoke,” “No Other,” “Right Next To You,” “True Love,” “Now and Never,” and her quarantine song “Closest Thing To Love” which she performed during zoom interview with the media.

The mentioned songs are part of her latest album called “Ready, Let Go.”

Keiko’s latest album is a collaboration between her and UK-based producers Rusti Russouw and Tristan Charmichael, collectively known as Chasing Fantasia. It is available now on all digital music platforms.

Ready, Let Go’s music video premieres tonight on Myx and YouTube.
