Kobe Paras is officially a Bruin

Patuloy na ipinagmamalaki ang Filipino pride na anak ng dating PBA rookie MVP si Kobe Paras, ang 18-year-old na tinaguriang ‘Slam Dunk Champion ng FIBA Honda.’ Kamakailan lang ay pumirma na si Paras ng letter of intent para makapag-aral sa University of California Los Angeles at makapaglaro sa ilalim ni coach Steve Alford.
“We’re always looking for players who’ve grown up immersed in basketball, and Kobe definitely fits that mold,” pagmamalaki ni Alford sa anak ng dating PBA player turned comedian actor na si Benjie Paras.
“He just loves the game. To add a talented player like Kobe to our program is terrific. He’s a very athletic guard who plays with tremendous energy. We like how he can attack off the dribble and get to the rim in the open court, and we’re excited that he’ll be joining us in Westwood,” dagdag niya.
