
Life is not a race—successful CEO Glenda Victorio
The Go Negosyo Woman 2020 Entrepreneurship Summit at the World Trade Center was attended by about 9,000 participants last March 3, 2020.
The summit highlighted women’s contribution to the Philippines and ASEAN with wonderful lessons in entrepreneurship, agriculture, style and substance, tourism, diplomacy, finding confidence and in life.
Ms. Glenda Dela Cruz Victorio is a 22-year-old-mother-of-two, young CEO of Brilliant Skin Essentials, Inc. who entered the cosmetics and skincare business in the year 2016, was selected as one of the recipients of Woman of Style and Substance award with over 50 women leaders from the Philippines and the Asean.

As they gather on stage with Ms. Bianca Gonzales and sharing experiences from their humble beginnings and journeys in entrepreneurship, Ms. Glenda Victorio shared her wonderful race as a young entrepreneur leaving these remarkable notes: “Kailangan may goal ka sa buhay, parang si Google or si Waze. Pag nag-google or nag-waze ka, alam mo kung saan ka pupunta, kahit maligaw ka, kahit na-traffic or kahit sobrang tagal bago ka makarating sa pupuntahan mo atleast may pupuntahan ka ‘di ba.”
Only 3 years after its successful launch, she was able to build her skincare community with 46 Authorized Franchisees and 705 Authorized Distributors, locally and internationally.
She already has Distributions not only in the Philippines, even foreigners are interested not only with her products, but about who she is, how she made it, and what more a young lady like her can do.
Currently, she is the CCIP Vice President for Committee of Ways and Means and awarded in the United States of America as the 2018 Youngest CEO in the Field of Cosmetics and Skincare, and 2019 Most Outstanding and Influential Online Entrepreneur in the Field of Cosmetics and Skincare.
These were all sorted because she acted positively as she keys in “Always act alone with your will.”
At a tender age of 12, she always knew that she could only do more if she focus, and until now, she inspires over 9,000 audiences with her words, “Dapat lagi kang naka-focus, focus lang, HUWAG tayong paiba-iba ng gusto or decision sa buhay, and always remember that LIFE IS NOT A RACE” during the panel session.
“Kapag curious po talaga ako, I always research, I’m always willing to learn and yung tinatanong ni Ma’am, ung mayroon ba akong Mentor? Actually, sobrang swerte ko, kasi lahat po ng nakilala ko, talagang nagmamalasakit po sakin.”
Making her final sentences really touch the hearts by not only the audiences but her co-panels on-stage as well. With no doubt, her curiosity made her succeed.
Now, she also owns a Spa Center and Coffee Shop known as Brilliant Cafe, Aesthetics, and Spa.
At a young age, she is very engaged with different people, no matter what status or disposition in life.
She started partnering with Ms. Korina Sanchez-Roxas months after her story-line-feature in Rated K.
Recently, she has a closed contract with Ever Bilena and the making of her cosmetic line called Brilliant Colours, and an extension to her skincare products is another Ever Bilena Collaboration named SkinFit.
Business is indeed important for her, as she believes that this will help not only her family but the people who are counting on her, employees that turned out close friends and close friends that turned out as her successful employees.
For her, her employee’s welfare is first, before anything else.
