The Lookout is a story of love, betrayal, and revenge through the eyes of Lester Quiambao, a gay hired killer who has a score to settle from his past. A Cinemalaya Festival official film entry for this year.

Ako po dito si Lester Quiambao. A gay hired killer for a reason.
Can you relate your personal life with your character?
Actually I don’t see anything from Lester that can relate to myself kasi ibang iba po talaga si Lester kay Andres sobrang magkaibang magkaiba po dahil sa mga katangian ni Lester na gay, psycho and a killer and that’s so obvious naman.
What’s the promise of this movie to viewers?
I can say that this movie will open our eyes to see and to know things first before judging it because everyone of us has its own story. And this story promotes the quotes “Don’t judge the book by its cover.”
How is this different from other films?
Ang kaibahan nito sa ibang movie ay hndi ito ang typical movie na mapapanuod mo dahil sa mga twist at mga hindi mo inaasahang mangyayari sa movie na ito.. it’s also a mixed emotion movie na halos lahat ng emosyon ay mararadaman mo sa pelikula na ito.
How is it working with the director?
Magaling at matalino ang pagkakagawa ni Direk Afi sa pelikulang ito. Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam na makatrabho si direk dahil hindi ka nya pababayaan sa mga eksena mo. Pipigain ka nya talaga sa pag-arte at may respeto sya sa lahat ng nasa paligid nya. Inuusisa nya ang lahat ng mga eksena at hndi sya titigil hangga’t hndi nya nakukuha yung gusto nyang mangyari sa eksena nyo. Hindi sya nagiging pabaya sa quality ng pelikula.
What is expected of you here?
Ibang ibang Andres ang makikita nila dito dahil napaka-challenging ng ginagampanan kong karakter dito bilang si Lester Quiambao. Isang sexy, serious and mysterious na Andres Vasquez ang makikita nila. Masasabi ko na kung isa kang Actor isa ito sa mga dream role na gugustuhin mong gawin.
What could be the best reason why viewers should watch this?
Masasabi kong dapat nilang abangan at panoorin dahil hindi ito ang typical movie na mapapanuod nila at sobrang ganda ng istorya ng The Lookout. Hindi lang maganda ang kuwento nito dahil sobrang ganda rin ng pagkakagawa ng pelikulang ito kaya dapat nila itong panuorin para malaman nila kung ano po ‘yung sinasabi ko.

What’s keeping you busy lately
I have a regular show yun po yung #Michael Angelo the sitcom every sunday po yan 10:00am sa GMA newstv and hndi pa po tapos ang season namin sa Theater play na Solo Para Adultos, magkakaroon din po kami ng re-run at abangan din po nila yan.
How do you want your viewers perceive you as an actor? What type of actor you want to become?
Gusto ko tignan nila ako as a serious actor. Being a Character Actor is very challenging at dito mo makikita ang kapasidad mo bilang aktor and at the same time you’ll still learn and grow pa as an actor.
Who do you look up to in local show biz? Hollywood? Why?
Sa local showbiz I looked up sa narating ni Piolo and John Lloyd sila yung hinahangaan ko talga na nakikita ko talagang successful sa showbiz. Sila talaga yung gusto kong tularan at gayahin not the way they look or I mean physically but yung path na narating nila. Sa hollywood naman sila Johnny Depp, Hugh Jackman and Leonardo De Carpio sila yung talagang nagagalingan ako pagdating sa pag-arte mga character actors din sila.
How do you want to see yourself in the next 5 years.
After 5 years sana isa na akong kilalang actor dito sa pilipinas at may mga regular shows at mga pelikula.
Finally, when Andres Vazquez is heard, how do you want to be known?
I want to be known as a successful actor like my idols.
