Lovi Poe in no rush to get married
“Iyong story kasi ng “The Escort,” naging escort siya towards the end, and that’s one time only. This one (The Annulment) kasi is a story of marriage and how to keep a relationship going, to show different stages of a relationship, how in love they are,” kuwento niya.
I would say this is very daring but needed (iyong mga scenes) because a lot of couples go through these things, too,” dugtong niya.
“It’s a highly relatable movie about people in a relationship. Iyong pinagdadaanan na challenges at trials ng kanilang relasyon, from courting, to decision to get married to honeymoon hanggang naging whirlwind romance, falling out and eventually, that painful decision to seek annulment,” esplika ni Lovi.
“With Joem kasi, kumportable na ako kasi ilang beses ko na rin siyang nakatrabaho at he’s easy to work with at napaka-professional niya,” paliwanag niya.
Speaking of her love life, happy si Lovi sa kanyang bagong inspirasyon at boyfriend na si Montgomery Blancowe na isang British film producer at medical scientist.
Feeling niya, swak sila because they complement each other.
“He’s an old soul. Iba siyang mag-isip,” paglalarawan ni Lovi. “He’s very nice, he’s really a good person. Yeah, I’m so happy that we’re sharing this moment together kahit he’s far away from me. So, kahit magkalayo kami, we make sure that we’re part of each other’s lives kasi constant naman ang communication namin,” pahabol niya.
Iyon namang pagpapaseksi, it’s just that you’re just doing your job and you’re doing serious acting,” aniya.
“Kasi in a relationship, there are things that are negotiable and non-negotiable. I guess, being a good person is non-negotiable, pati na iyong sense of humor. I think, having a good heart and soul is also non-negotiable. Iyong right amount of love and understanding is also. Iyong negotiable to me would be iyong physical aspect. Siyempre, it’s already automatic, my career is one of my priorities. I don’t want someone who would dictate me what to do, but I believe in compromise,” dugtong niya.
“I don’t know. We don’t talk about it. We’re just enjoying what we have now,” ani Lovi. “We enjoy each other’s company. Basta ako, ayoko kasing magsalita nang tapos but again, like what I’ve said earlier, pag pumasok ka sa isang relasyon, you don’t want it to end badly. Parang you’ re always being hopeful, you always wish for the best,” pagtatapos niya.
