Aminado man si Geoff Eigenman na ready na ulit siyang ma-in love, wala pa rin siyang nakikitang muling magpapatibok ng puso niya. Ano ba ang kailangan niyang makita sa isang girl para magkainteres siya na makipagrelasyon o maging girlfriend ito?
“I guess when she’s really honest about the things she feel,” sabi nga ng aktor.
“Iyon ang number one… honesty, I guess. How she feels about I guess… being with me.
“’Yon! Doon magsisimula. And we’ll work things from there.”
May isinet ba siya na time frame kung kailan siya ulit pupuwedeng pumasok sa isang relationship?
“No. I don’t like scheduling things, e.
“I just go with the flow. Kung anuman ang mangyari… kung gusto ko siya at nag-i-enjoy ako, I’m gonna jump into it.
“But then if it’s something I know that it wouldn’t benefit me… I’ll go somewhere else.
“Lagi akong spontaneous. Ayoko ng ano… paulit-ulit.
“Ayoko ng gano’n.
“And ako when it comes to planning, it really never works out. Kaya mas ok sa akin ‘yong spontaneous.
“On my side, mas nagugustuhan ko ‘yong… going surprises if I can.”
Focused daw ngayon sa trabaho si Geoff. Pero puwede niyang pagsabayin ulit sa ngayon ang love life at ang career?
“Puwede rin naman. There’s a balance din naman with everything.
“But sometimes, you know… you can’t have everything.
“Well as of now, I’m not looking for love. I’m not even focused on it.
“If it comes my way, it comes my way. But for now, what I’m focused on is… my family, work, and my athletic side which is sports.
“So… ‘yon! Iyon lang.”
Kuntento naman daw si Geoff sa takbo ng kanyang career ngayon. At masaya siya sa magandang feedback ng viewers sa tinatamkpukan niyang seryeng ‘Kailan Tama Ang Mali?’. Kasama niya rito sina Max Collins, Empress Shuck, at Dion Ignacio.
Mag-asawa ang role nila ni Max. Ex-girlfriend naman niya ang character ni Empress na manggugulo sa kanila.
Si Dion naman, mai-in love kay Max. Kaya isa conflict ng istorya ng nasabing soap ay tungkol sa infidelity.
“Well life is supposed to be black and white. Pero the grey area is where all the fun is at.
“But siyempre, you have to think for yourself kung tama pa ba itong ginagawa mo o hindi na. Kung may nasasaktan ba.
“Or will it benefit you for now lang or in the long run. So… that’s when you have to weigh things and make a choice.”
Sa mga naging relationship ba niya dati, hindi nagkaroon ng issue on infidelity? Naging faithful ba talaga siya?
“Yes. I have to say I am faithful.
“I can say that I have learned the hard way. Pero I don’t regret that because those were the experiences that made you learn not to do the same mistakes again.
“So… yeah! I can say that I am faithful.
“I am loyal. And if I do have your hand or if I have your heart in my hand, I’ll give you everything I have.”
Kasabihan na men are polygamous by nature. At ang ginagampanan niyang character sa ‘Kailan Tama Ang Mali?’, may asawa na pero natutukso pa ring makipag-affair sa iba.
“I guess for some kasi, it’s really bad na. It’s a sickness already. Thus, maybe some may need professional help.
“But if it’s something that you’re driving into for like… for the first time, I guess you just gonna have to weight things.
“Kung ano ba ang mas mabigat sa ‘yon. Kung ‘yong asawa mo ba or ‘yong kalokohan na ginagawa mo.”
It seems naka-move on na siya sa nangyaring break up nila ni Carla. What if one of these days, may offer na magsama sila sa isang project? Okey kaya ito sa kanya?
“Uhm… anything is possible. But ako as of now, I honestly don’t think that GMA would be pairing us together.
“If it does, I guess it does. We’ll see.
“A… as of now, wala naman siyang gano’n. Walang nabubuong mga ganyan.
“So… I’m not worried about it.”
Kumusta na ba sila ni Carla sa ngayon? Nagkakausap na sila?
“No. We haven’t spoken since.. whenever.”
Sa palagay niya, mas maganda na maging gano’n na lang muna sila?
“Yeah. I guess you can say that.
“Sino ba naman, di ba? A… anyone who’s foot in in our position would I guess want the same way din naman.
“Na hindi naman sa iniiwasan. But… out of sight, out of mind basically.”
Hindi pa sila nagkikita. What if by accident ay magkaharap sila o mag-krus ang kanilang landas?
“Anything. I don’t know.
“I wouldn’t really know. Until it happens.”
Will he be the first one to say hi?
“Anything is possible. Bahala na.
“I’m sure kung mangyayari man ‘yon, majority of you will be around. Because it will probably be at some event or whatever like that.”
Kung sakali namang mabalitaan niyang may bago ng boyfriend si Carla, ano kaya ang kanyang magiging pakiramdam?
“Dapat ba akong may maramdaman?” natawang tanong din ni Geoff.
Hindi ba siya magiging masaya for Carla kung mangyari na may bago na itong pag-ibig?
“Whatever. A… kung anuman ‘yong meron sila ng kung sinumang special someone niya halimbawa, sa kanila na ‘yon.
“I’m out of it. I’m part of the past.
“So… I don’t think it would really even matter.”
Kung minsan, ang past ay nagiging present o future? Ang natapos na, nadudugtungan ulit at nagkakaroon ulit ng panibagong simula?
“A… ewan ko. I guess anything can happen.
“But, a… I don’t know. We’ll see when it happens,” nangiting huling nasabi na lang ni Geoff.
