Marvin Agustin and Carlo Aquino also pledge assistance to Jiro Manio

Movies are often a reflection of life, but rarely an extension of it. But when it does extend into reality, it can either be tragic or victorious. In this case, it’s both. Jiro Manio, once an award-winning child actor, has fallen from grace and is now battling his own demons. Because of this, his on-screen mother, Ai Ai de las Alas, pledged assistance to her “Shammy” (the role played by Manio in the “Ang Tanging Ina” movie series).
Now, two of Manio’s older brothers in the said films are also willing to extend a helping hand. Marvin Agustin and Carlo Aquino have reached out De Las Alas about their support to help Jiro get up on life once again. Agustin played the role of Juan (Ina Montecillo’s first child) while Aquino was casted as Tri (short for Dimitri, her third child). The Comedy Concert Queen posted screenshots of her text exchanges with the two actors on her Instagram account.
Little is known as to what sort of assistance Agustin and Aquino will give to Manio. However, giving sound advice to the fallen actor is already significant. It’s also possible that Agustin will give Manio a job in his restaurant empire, which includes Sumo Sam, John and Yoko, Teddy’s Bigger Burger, and Café Ten Titas to name a few. Agustin also owns Futuretainment Inc. which into event and concert production.
With his tanging ina and his older brothers now reaching out, we can only hope that Manio will have a magnifico of a recovery.
