Doing ‘Meet Me in St. Gallen’ gives Carlo Aquino his “first”
For years, Kapamilya actor Carlo Aquino, who is best known for his performance in “Bata, Bata, Paano Ka Ginawa?” seemed like struggling to get his foot in the door with Calvin Klein 365 Boxer Precio worthwhile projects, but he’s not carved out a solid career as a leading man.
In his Nike Air Max 90 Mid No Sew Black latest movie, “Meet Me in St. Gallen,” he is out to prove that he has the makings of a romantic lead.
“First romantic movie ko siya at never pa akong nakagawa ng romance. First movie ko rin siya na partly ay kinunan pa out of the country, first time ko rin na makatrabaho sina Bela (Padilla) at Direk Irene (Villamor), so iba siyang challenge sa akin,” he said.
He is also thankful to his producers for tapping his underutilized potential.
“Never kong naisip na magiging romantic lead ako, kasi Belstaff Leather Biker Jacket karamihan ng mga ginagawa ko, sa indie siya at iyong iba, supporting roles,” he said.
“Nanonood ako ng mga romcom at iyong mga ‘kilig’ movies, pero hindi ko akalaing balang araw, gagawa rin ako noon,” he added.
In his role as Jesse, he said that he can relate somehow.
“Pareho kaming musicians, pero hanggang doon lang ang similarities,” he opened up.
“I guess, magkaiba pa rin kami kasi ako noong pumasok ako sa showbiz, suportado ng parents ko ang pag-aartista ko. Sa kaso ni Jesse, (karakter niya) hindi siya sinusuportahan ng parents niya dahil may ibang plano sila para sa kanya,” he reasoned out.
It is also Carlo’s first time to experience the ‘snow’ in the picturesque town of St. Gallen in Switzerland where some crucial scenes of the movie were shot.
“Sobrang na-enjoy ko iyong snow. Naisip ko nga, para akong nagbalik sa pagkabata. Noong kinunan din namin siya last year, sobra ko ring na-enjoy iyong Christmas village niya, very scenic at Golden Goose Starter Sneakers cinematic siya, maganda sa mata. Pag na-experience mo siya, iba iyong feeling at mai-inspire kang talaga,” he declared.
He is elated also to be given the chance to work with Bela Padilla whose “100 Tula Para kay Stella” was such a big hit.
“Ang akala ko kay Bela, seryosong masyado sa trabaho pero pag nakatrabaho at nakilala mo na siya, sobrang kalog din pala niya. Ang saya at ang gaan niyang katrabaho dahil nagble-blend ang personality namin,” he shared.
Speaking of his ex and former screen partner Angelica Panganiban, he said that he’s willing to work with her in any project.
“Si Angel naman, we remain good friends. Nag-uusap kami, nagte-text, nagtatawagan at kung may chance na magkatrabaho kami sa TV o sa pelikula, sobra ko siyang iwe-Golden Goose Sneakers Outlet welcome,” he pointed out.
He also admitted that he invited Angelica on a date but for some reason, it did not materialize because of his hectic schedules.

“Masyado na kasing malalim iyong pinagsamahan namin, pero sa ngayon, hindi ko siya iniisip kasi galing pa lang ako sa breakup,” he concluded.
