Melai Cantiveros, the lone female contender on ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’

Comedienne Melai Cantiveros is the lone female impersonator who made it to the final four of participants from the ABS-CBN’s hit TV show ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar.’ Aside from Melai, completing the celebrity performers who will vie to be the first winner of ’ Your Face Sounds Familiar’ are top scorers Nyoy Volante, Jay-R, and Edgar Allan Guzman.
After eight weeks of impersonating different artists produced by the iconator, Melai, [who won once in the weekly battle when she impersonated Elizabeth Ramsey], was in disbelief after hearing her name announced as one of the top contenders. A total score of 202 placed Melai as one of the grand finalists who will vie on ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ final’s night which will be held this coming weekend. Expect Melai to become a ‘dark horse’ just as she did when she won as the ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ grand winner through text voting sometime ago. Text voting from the viewers will also affect the scores of the ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ finalists.
