Miguel Villasis, now becoming noticeable; handles detractors
Recently, Miguel’s Facebook page, @miguelvillasisofficial has started to garner likes and admirations on his post and pose.
Equally, the page is beefed up by those followers who started to form a group of their own to support their star in the making.
However, there came a day where Miguel has experienced being down as few detractors have emerged.
In a privilege interview, he vocally expressed his not being used to this kind of set up as it is only little by little that he is imbibing his being a public figure.
So what was the incident?
Meron pong, alam ko kakilala ko sya, na nagte-text ng kung anu-anong paninira sa akin sa mga kakilala ko pati po sa presently nagha-handle ng career ko. Nahihiya nga po ako kasi stressful po pala ‘yung ganitong sitwasyon.
Sa previous career mo ba as basketball player walang ganon?
Ganito pala ‘yung mundong pinasok ko, dapat alerto sa lahat ng bagay, dapat alam ko ‘yung mga nangyayari. Hindi katulad sa past career ko na basta makapaglaro lang okay na. Kahit anong gawin, ayos lang kasi wala namang sisita.
Asked on how would he handle people or few individuals who will somehow create stories to pull you down?
I’ll just ignore these kinds of people who are trying to pull me down because I’m too busy working hard to achieve my dreams. And also, this world that I’ve entered (showbiz), it is normal that there will be a lot of people who will do anything, who will create fake stories to destroy your image.
What motivates you in order not to be distracted by these kinds?
I’ll keep working on my craft because I know that no one can destroy a dedicated man working hard to achieve his goals.
What makes you focused?
That’s the key po – stay focused. I am too busy working to become successful and that makes me focused. Dapat para kang kabayo na may tapaoho, dapat dun ka lang nakatingin sa direction na pupuntahan mo. At hindi na rin po ako bata para magpaapekto sa mga taong gustong sumira sa’kin. Kahit ano pang paninira gawin sakin, ngingitian ko lang sila.
In closing, what would you like to tell your followers and your detractors?
Ang napansin ko lang sa panahon ngayon, kapag ang tao ay nagsisimulang umangat o nagkakaroon ng progressive change, maraming gustong manira. Sabi nga nila, kapag ang puno ay mabunga binabato para may mahulog at makuha.
Nakakatuwa lang isipin na hindi pa naman po ako ganon. Wala pa nga akong na-a-achieve. Nasa first step pa lang po ako.
Kaya para po sakin, ang showbiz ay hindi para sa mga pusong mamon. Dapat ready ako sa mga paninira at dapat hindi ako matakot. After all I’ve got my family, and friends at my back and God on my side so who shall I be afraid of.
