
Movie producer Donna Villa passes away at 57
Actress turned movie producer and wife of iconic Carlo J. Caparas, Donna Villa, passed away, Tuesday.
She was 57 and reports headlined that she was battling, fighting cancer.
The movie producer confined at University of Santo Tomas Hospital.
Villa was remarkable as the head of Golden Lion films and started as an actress.
But her name became a major hit when she started producing “massacre films.”
“The Vizconde Massacre: God, Help Us!” (1993), “The Myrna Diones Story (Lord, Have Mercy)” (1993), and The Lilian Velez Story: Till Death Do Us Part” (1995)– her films that headlined movie industry.
Her family shared that her remains stayed at the Araneta, Quezon City Branch of Cosmopolitan Memorial Chapels.
