PAO Chief Persida Acosta Graduates from UP’s College Of Social Work and Community Development

Malapit sa members of the press si Atty. Persida Acosta, ang chief public attorney ng PAO (Public Attorneys Office) dahil lagi itong handang tumulong sa kanila pagdating sa mga usaping legal.
More than that, we find her to be a good example of public servant dahil sa kabila ng mabigat na tungkulin na mahusay naman niyang nagagampanan ay nagpursigi pa itong kumuha ng doctorate degree sa social services upang lalong makatulong sa ating kababayan.
“Love ko talaga ang public at social services,” palaging sinasabi sa mga interviews ng mabunying abogada. Kaya naman natuwa kami at tuluyan na siyang nagtapos ng kursong ito mula sa CSWCD-UP Diliman, the graduation ceremony was held June 29.
The lady chief wanted to share the joy of her graduation sa malalapit na kaibigan at members of the press.

This is to convey my profuse thanks to all of you for supporting me in my doctoral studies.
Today is the culmination of my journey at the College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) of the University of the Philippines (UP), Diliman, Quezon City, wherein I took up the whole 58 units (including Dissertation) for six (6) years as academic requirements for my Doctor of Social Development (DSD) course. I pursued this course in connection with the Civil Service Commission Honor Awards (CSC 2004 Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award) Program – University of the Philippines (UP) Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Doctor of Social Development-College of Social Work and Community Development Scholarship, by virtue of Executive Order (E.O.) No. 508 (series of 1992) issued by the late President, H.E. Corazon C. Aquino, as amended by E.O. No. 77 (series of 1993) issued by former President, H. E. Fidel V. Ramos.
Today marks the date of my graduation from the CSWCD-UP, Diliman. I share with you my joy, and once again express my gratitude.
Kasama ko po kayo sa bawat hakbang ng aking paglalakbay na ito, ngayon ay ibinabahgi ko po sa inyo ang natamong tagumpay ng inyong abang lingkod.
