Piolo meets fans to promote ‘Mallari’
Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual led Fancon for his MMFF movie “Mallari” last December 1 at the SM Mall of Asia. Present during the event were Bryan Dy of Mentorque and director Derick Cabrido.
Discussing his edgy, dark role, Pascual shared, “As an actor, it’s your job to always push yourself, to do always something different. I wanna be able to give myself that challenge and become better.”

He added, “Hindi naman puwedeng mag-settle sa dating roles. This time sa mga streaming platforms mas broad na ‘yung mga roles na puwede mong tanggapin. Mas madaling mag-diversify nowadays and I think I’m just passionate about my job kaya open po ako sa kahit na anong role ang i-offer.”
In the movie, the award-winning actor plays three different roles in three different timelines. Pascual said his new movie will scare and excite audiences with its retro vibe horror and well-written script.

Distributed by Warner Bros., “Mallari” also stars Janella Salvador and Gloria Diaz. It opens Christmas Day in cinemas.
The cast members recently visited Batangas and Fisher Mall to promote their film. They also encouraged the public to support the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023.
