Pokwang no *ex for more than a year now
Full-time mom Pokwang headlines dark comedy film “Sol Searching” directed by Roman Perez. The comedienne admits that her time is always given to her daughter Malia and that no time for bed time with husband.
“Ine-enjoy kasi namin ‘yung baby. Ako, 22 years ako bago nagka-baby ulit. Sya naman, first baby nya ever. Saka, pagod na rin kami sa trabaho. Last year June, tapos nalaman kong tesbu (buntis) ako, ay stop muna, baka matamaan e.
“Makakatulong ba sa ekonomiya ng bansa ‘yun,” Pokwang laughs.
Teacher Sol is dead and cannot be buried because there are no funds. How will the community come forward to put her to rest, this strict and no-nonsense teacher of grade school students and farmers who need to be taught scientific farming methods?
“Kailangan nilang abangan kung bakit ganoon ako kaasikaso sa bangkay nya.”
If ever Lee O’Brian finds new girl, Pokwang expresses, “Subukan nya.” The Sol Searching star always amazes people with her humor and dedication to work.
Pokwang stars in Mercury is Mine with Joey Marquez, a dark comedy also for the whole family. She always pulls every character she portrays. Now, she has Sol Searching, with comedian Joey again. But what stands out about the comedienne is her charm and very welcoming attitude.
