Prince Magar It doesn’t happen everyday that you meet good-looking, young professionals who would like to be part of show business.

Take the case of Prince Magar, a medical doctor, who professes to have been bitten by the acting bug and would love to become part of a drama series/teleserye or an indie film.

When asked why it’s only now that he’s finally followed his ‘showbiz calling’, he says that he wants to take advantage of the opportunity that comes his way. He compared the rare chance to catching a speeding train, which one either takes or misses.

“It’s not really about the fame it could bring or the money. It’s more about following your heart and your passion, doing what you love the most. I’ve always wanted to act. I’m at my best when I’m able to make people happy,” Prince said.

And for someone that people had been egging/encouraged to join the colorful showbiz world for years, “when everybody believes in you, it’s not hard not to believe in yourself.”

His chiseled face, aquiline nose, deep-set of intense brown eyes, muscular physique and his flawless tanned skin certainly commands attention and merits leading role materials. But Prince would rather be the villain or the one viewers would love to hate on the screen.

“I want to take on character roles but I’m not really choosy,” he said as he also expressed willingness to take other assignments including commercial, print and ramp modeling. He also dreams of becoming an image model of a clothing line and “see my billboard displayed at EDSA.”

Blessed with a gift of gab, he could also pass as a TV/events host as he knows pretty much how to reach out to people from all walks of life. He dreams of working with his ultimate showbiz crush, Jennylyn Mercado.

His recent guesting on Inquirer Radio DZIQ daily afternoon Showbiz program “Wow, It’s Showbiz” hosted by former Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) President Fernan De Guzman a.k.a. Miss F was Prince’s baptism of fire. During the said live radio interview, listeners texted their questions and everyone seemed to be curious about Prince.

He’s also spotted during the 31st PMPC Star Awards for movies. And he did the most important thing so far – playing avid fan and having his picture taken with the country’s superstar, Ms. Nora Aunor.ate guy

naomiPrince, together with fellow showbiz aspirant Naomi Pfyl, paid a visit to PSR and had exchange of ideas with its publisher Mr. Ace David.

Naomi, on the other hand, is another half-Pinay beauty (her dad is Swiss) who would like to try her luck in her mother’s land. She’s a soccer player and would love to do sports broadcasting in the future.

Barely a month in the Philippines, she’s eager to learn the Filipino language and keeps her hands busy doing VTRs and audition for possible projects.

To learn more of Filipino culture, Naomi squeezes time to exploring the Philippines together with her family. So far, she said, has been to Cagayan de Oro City and Palawan.

PSR wishes for Prince’s and Naomi’s success in the entertainment world!
