Princess Velasco welcomes first child

Acoustic singer Princess Velasco gave birth to a bouncing baby boy via Caesarian section yesterday, June 8, at the Makati Medical Center. The ‘ASAP Sessionistas’ member named her son, Kobe. On her Instagram account she wrote: “Dear God, thank you for this wonderful gift. Your love is infinite!”
Velasco was a bit disappointed because she was not allowed by her obstetrician to attend good friend and fellow singer Sitti Navarro’s wedding in Baguio City recently. She was also hoping for a normal delivery. “But I guess God has a different plan for me,” she says.
Velasco is married to pediatrician Dr. Mark Herbert Rosario.
