Rep. Roman discusses women empowerment, gender equality at 43rd AIPA
Bataan District 1 Representative Geraldine Roman gives us an update on her recent trip to Phnom Penh, where she was part of a Philippine delegation to the 43rd ASEAN Inter-Parlimentary Assembly (AIPA).

Cong Geraldine said the 5-day round of meetings with other lawmakers from the region, including those from Australia, was a fruitful sharing and conferring of mutual concerns and challenges. Discussed also were issues affecting women empowerment and gender equality.
But, of course, the delegates also had time to tour the city of Phnom Penh, with stops at the Royal Palace and their National Museum.
At the Embassy Night, sponsored by the Philippine embassy, Cong Geraldine delighted the audience with a song number.
