Rising singer-songwriter Diego Gutierrez excited for his debut single ‘On A Dream’
Singer/songwriter and TV personality Diego Gutierrez is releasing On a Dream– his debut original single via Hitmakers Entertainment– available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Deezer and Tidal starting February 5.
Penned by Gutierrez, Wilde Quimson and Erick Walls (guitarist to Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, etc.), Gutierrez first shared a clip of the acoustic guitar-driven, pop song on Instagram in January to incredible fan reaction.
Produced and arranged by Mark J. Feist (who also arranged songs for Beyonce, Celine Dion, Little Mix, Mary J Blige,), On A Dream, with its infectious melody and a message of love about his dream girl is a brilliant balance of Tagalog and English with an instant relatable message.

Directed by Melvin Dave, the video gives a glimpse into Diego’s mind and his tender dreams of his ultimate dream girl, while serenading the viewer with an intimate vocal performance.
(“I’ve been on a dream, I’ve been on a dream Pag gising sa umaga, Ikaw ang hinahanap ko yeah, No matter what time you call me, Imma be there when you’re lonely, Imma be there baby you know me”).
For Gutierrez, one of the greatest joys in life comes from deliberately tapping into his heart when writing his music:
“When we first started writing On A Dream, it was the beginning of the pandemic so we were all actually forced to live in a standstill.
“During those times, both of our relationships with our significant others were getting affected, and the only way we knew how to express our feelings at that time was to write this song.
“I guess the feeling we wanted to communicate through the track was the appreciation of the dream-like novelty of finding a person that makes you feel like no other.”
Twenty-four year old Diego hails from a Filipino Showbiz Royalty family; he is the son of former teen Superstars Lotlot de leon and Ramon Christopher and the grandson of Pilita Corrales (Asia’s Queen Of Songs) and Superstar Nora Aunor (actress and singer/Philippine National Treasure) as well as Drama King Christopher De Leon and Philippine Cinema’s Legendary actor Eddie Gutierrez.
Diego is the only brother of Janine Gutierrez, (FAMAS and URIAN 2020 Best Actress).
Over the past couple of months Diego has started appearing regularly on ASAP Natin ‘To (ABS-CBN) while writing and recording more new music.
