Ruben Soriquez misses working with LizQuen
Nagmarka si Ruben Soriquez dahil gumanap na ama-amahan ni Liza Soberano sa “Dolce Amore” at sa pagiging Harry Potter look-alike.
Ayon kay Direk Ruben Maria Soriquez, biggest break niya sa TV ang teleseryeng “Dolce Amore” na pinagbidahan nina Liza Soberano at Enrique Gil.
Enjoy talaga siya na na-appreciate siya ng fans.
“Yes, I love the Philippines, half Pinoy ako eh. Oh, I’m enjoying, I’m enjoying the showbiz here at ‘yung fans, natutuwa ako sa kanila,” deklara ni Direk Ruben.
Unang nakilala sa mundo ng local showbiz ang Fil-Italian actor/direktor na si Ruben sa pelikulang Of Sinners and Saints na siya rin ang director at lead actor.
Co-stars niya rito sina Polo Ravales, Richard Quan, Raymond Bagatsing, Channel Latorre at Althea Vega.
Dito rin nanalong Best Actor si Direk Ruben sa 2015 World Premieres Film Festival-Philippines.
Huling napanood si Direk Ruben sa pelikulang “Unexpectedly Yours” na tinampukan nina Sharon Cuneta, Robin Padilla, Joshua Garcia at Julia Barretto. Gumanap siya rito bilang boss ng Megastar.
“Happy ako na makatrabaho siya, masaya kasi katrabaho si Ms. Sharon, always joking. But when she gets into character, mabilis lang niya nagagawa ang eksena niya. In the movie, I play Ricardo, the boss of Patty (Sharon).
“Sayang lang kasi, wala kami scene together ni Robin (Padilla). But I met him at the premiere night and it was a pleasure and we agreed to meet anew and talk about projects,” sey pa niya.
Nami-miss na rin niya ang LizQuen na makatrabaho.
“Sana, sana next year magkaroon ulit ng project with them. Pero next year mayroon akong mga project sa Italy, so I hope they don’t call me when I’m busy sa Italy.”
“Now mayroon akong isang bagong movie. The Spider’s Men. Meaning the men of spiders. Kasama sa movie sina Richard Quan, Lee O’Brian, Jeffrey Tam, the magician, Rob Sy. It’s a black comedy directed by me, produced by me, written by me,” pagbibida pa niya.
“Ang tema is I will reconnect with my half Pinoy brother. Pero may sakit siya, autistic siya (Richard). Comedy na may drama rin and there’s thriller, because some guys, they try to take advantage of me and my brother. It will be bloody. Actually, parang Quentin Tarantino style.
“Iyong isang film pa is The Lease, directed by Italian director Paulo Bertola. It’s from Utmost Creatives Production, ‘yung producer is the owner of Brand magazine, he’s producing films now. I’m the husband of Garrie Concepcion in the film. It’s a paranormal thriller. This is a horror film,” pagtatapos niya.
