STARQUEST ALLIANCE PRODUCTIONS INC. A ‘NEWBIE’ WITH BIG ASPIRATION

Show business is a vast universe. And though the local industry is being reigned by three giant TV networks, there is still room for budding talent companies to make a dent and with full determination make it big in the entertainment world. And that’s what Starquest Alliance Productions Inc. wants to prove – to have a place in the universe of entertaining people.
Celebrities, scribes and showbiz-watchers were all in attendance during the grand launch of SAPI, the country’s newest, talent management and film production company, in Quezon City last February 24.
In attendance were Starquest officials and top executives including Mark Angelo Castillo – President; Kim Reyes – Chief Operating Officer and Atty. Kristoffer Bryan Salom- Corporate Secretary.
“Starquest Alliance Production Inc. is a film, talent and event management company that is focused on planning, implementing and producing events and films,” says SAPI President Mark Angelo Castillo, adding that the company is likewise involved in developing and managing talents from a growing roster of entertainers and models bent on pursuing a career in entertainment.
Although considered a ‘newbie’ in the local entertainment industry SAPI already has a list of events and activities that would cover the rest of 2015. These include a fun-run, local musical concerts, model-search, celebrity car-show and even a motion-picture currently in production. SAPI is likewise venturing into producing international shows and is presently negotiating for a series of concerts abroad.
“Our first film venture is Mandirigma,” shares Kim Reyes. “It is a co-production with Blank Pages Production and the Philippine Marines and will have a stellar cast written and directed by Arlyn dela Cruz.”
The much-heralded lunch also served as a showcase of SAPI’s growing list of talents who were duly introduced during the event on a mini-fashion show that delighted the guests and supporters of SAPI who were at the gathering.
“We support local talents,” says Reyes, “and I can say that Starquest is committed to discovering the next batch of entertainers that will be very visible in the entertainment and modeling industries in the months to come.”
“Ultimately, our goal is to become a world-class multi-media production company that will generate creative content and provide high-quality entertainment,” says Castillo, who foresees a bright future ahead for the company and the local entertainment and events industry in particular.
“We aspire for excellence and we believe that this will be evident in the talents, events and film projects that we will be managing for the years to come.”
