Thorns beneath the roses

Singer Songwriter Sia with the phenomenal hit song chandelier was rejected by not actually some but many renowned artists. Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, is an Australian singer-songwriter who made the song diamonds for Rihanna and Pretty Hurts in 2013 for Beyonce. Those were the songs that made a major hit in the music industry. She also made songs to Adele, Leah Michelle, Christina Aguilera, Jessie J, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Rita Ora, Alexis Jordan and even the famous Icon Celine Dion. But, despite of her invigorating success as a songwriter, a lot of her songs in the album 1000 songs of fear which was released in 2014 were often discarded, among those rejected is the song Chandelier. Likewise, the song titanium was even released without her knowledge but because of that it made a pinnacle to the success of her career.
It wouldn’t be an issue if she writes songs for other artists as she is a versatilesongwriter. It was only when she opened some unusual facts that a lot of her songs were rejected and had been returned several times by the artists. We all know that Sia’s albums that were released to the public contain powerful tracks. Superb lyrics and a genius who thinks magnanimously creating a message to every song she wrote. When she visited Ellen De Generes in her show to promote her album This Is Acting, she unflappably revealed that the
tracks found in the album were all rejected songs by some artists. She even noted Adele that some songs were sent back to her at times.
It is a blessing in disguise for Sia because if not for the rejection of her songs; She would not have become what she is today. A great performer with an incredible voice and a multitalented singer who always releases a magic to
her songs containing powerful messages. She can be included in the list of notable personalities through her experience
like Walt Disney, who was told before that he has no idea. Channing Tatum who was rejected in a movie. Even our very own Ms. Universe Pia Wurtzback who joined the Binibining Pilipinas three times.
So, if you had dreams believe in it and flaunt it like Fantasia’s song I believe. Don’t worry about being rejected because like these persons, if you believe in yourself the dreams and aspirations that you are praying for will definitely be
achieved. Remember that there will always be thorns beneath the Roses. If you ask me I can’t wait to be in the master list.
