Two of ‘Pinoy Big Brother 737’ Housemates Revealed

From June 15 to 19, the first seven housemates of the latest ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ installment will be revealed. Speaking of first, 14-year-old Ryan Bacalla from Cebu appeared on ‘It’s Showtime’ and was introduced by Vice Ganda and Karylle. Known as the “kid sunshine of Cebu,” his appearance was preceded by tweets from ABS-CBN TV Production Head and PBB director Laurenti Dyogi.
Donning a headdress and an eye mask to conceal his full identity, Ryan showed a taste of his vibrant attitude by dancing to the tune of Pharell’s “Happy.” Pinoy Big Brother 737’s pilot episode will air on June 20.
A day after Ryan James Bacalla of Cebu was introduced as the first Pinoy Big Brother 737 housemate, another teenager, this time with a foreign spike, was introduced as the second housemate. He is none other than Bailey May from the United Kingdom.
Born in Cebu but raised in another country, Bailey May is already known to many even before he enters the PBB house. The Filipino-British heartthrob, tagged as the “Global Gwapito ng UK, is also a singer and a football player by hobby. When introduced at “It’s Showtime”, he was wearing a formal suit with helmet. He will also appear in TV Patrol and Aquino & Abunda Tonight.
Since the original ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ edition aired in 2005, it gave rise to the entertainment careers of former housemates such as Jayson Gainza, Kim Chui, Gerald Anderson, Melai Cantiveros and Sam Milby to name a few. It also gave rise to two celebrity editions and four teen editions. Pinoy Big Brother 737 will be the franchise’s sixth regular edition after Season 1, Season 2, Double Up, Unlimited, and All-In.
Toni Gonzaga will once again be the main host of the show. Also, the companion show Pinoy Big Brother 737: Uber will be aired on weekdays during the Kapamilya Gold afternoon time slot. Aside from ‘It’s Showtime,’ the new housemates will also be introduced in other ABS-CBN programs such as TV Patrol and ‘Aquino & Abunda Tonight.’
