Unkabogable Phenomenal Box-office Superstar shines brighter than ever
Reflecting on the success of Vice Ganda’s tenth concert at the Araneta, Your Memejesty, Queen VG was not a typical concert.
It showcased Vice’s unparalleled charisma, humor, and talent, underscored by a touching tribute to the true queen in his life – his mother, Rosario. His stellar performance lived up to concert royalty standards yet remained genuinely Vice.
With this achievement, it is quite nigh that Vice will set a new record for the most number of sold-out concerts at the Big Dome.
ABOUT THE SOLD-OUT CONCERT
A night of happiness, laughter, and heartfelt memories in Vice Ganda’s ‘Your Memejesty, Queen VG’
In his recent concert – the aptly-titled Your Memejesty, Queen VG – Vice truly embodied her Unkabogable Phenomenal Box-office Superstar title while adding an extra touch of magic by sharing his personal journey.

The show, held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on June 2, was his tenth sold-out concert at the venue, a fact Vice sincerely thanked his fans for in her opening spiels.
But the concert wasn’t just a comedic and musical extravaganza. It was also a heartfelt celebration of Vice’s journey and the people who shaped him.
Vice took the audience on a trip down memory lane, back to her school days when he was hailed the “Declamation Queen” at the tender age of ten.
In a hilarious turn of events, Vice asked his It’s Showtime co-hosts Amy Perez, Anne Curtis, and Vhong Navarro to reenact his famed declamation piece, “Isang Basong Tubig.”
And although they didn’t expect to be included in the show (they were seated in the audience, after all), they gamely participated in this segment.
Vice also waxed nostalgia about his former declamation rivals, namely Ruffa Mae Quinto, Mommy Dionesia, and a certain “Kris.” Pitch-perfect impersonations accompanied his introductions of these people, eliciting a mammoth wave of laughter from the audience.
Later on in the show, Vice summoned his close friends Lassy, MC, and Petite to the stage in another lighthearted segment.

After exchanging witty banter with each other, MC turned to Vice and began a conversation about science that ended in MC asking Vice, “Ano ang tawag sa mga stars na hindi na kumikinang?” Vice then playfully joked, “Lumipat. Yung mga lumipat.”
Amid the humor, the concert took a heartwarming turn when Vice brought his dear mother, Rosario Viceral, onstage. As Vice serenaded his mother with a touching medley of “Portrait of My Love” and “And I Love You So,” he lovingly proclaimed her mother as the “true queen.” Vice then guided her visibly moved mother onto a throne after adorning her with a cape and crown.
But the emotional atmosphere went as quickly as it came, with Vice teasing his mother. He claimed the cape her mom was wearing made her look like a fresh graduate in a toga.
Vice then prompted his mother to say something to her “fellow graduates.” Mommy Rosario laughed and played along but chided her daughter afterward, saying, “Ginagawa mo akong tanga.”
The audience roared when Vice retorted, “OK lang ‘yan, basta kumikita tayo!”

The four-hour concert had a star-studded lineup of guests, including Jackie “Ate Girl” Gonzaga, Lady Morgana, Moira Dela Torre, Tawag Ng Tanghalan champ Jex de Castro, the A-Team, and Hashtag Zeus Collins, who all splashed a dash of magic to the evening.
Meanwhile, high-profile audience members like Belle Mariano, Darren Espanto, Liz Uy, Ogie Alcasid, and Ryan Bang, along with ABS-CBN execs Carlo Katigbak, Cory Vidanes, Deo Endrinal, and Laurenti Dyogi, were spotted in the crowd.
Members of the LGBTQIA+ community and straight allies trooped to the Big Dome that night, testifying to Vice’s timelessness and universal appeal.
