UP BSID Class of 2020 redesigns Kalinga Day Care Center
The hardworking women of UP BSID Class of 2020 showcased the newly-renovated Kalinga Day Care Center (Project Kalinga), attended by Kalinga head, ID 179 professor, and law expert Gaby Concepcion last January 10, Diliman, Quezon City.

The Kalinga Day Care Center (KDCC) started as a special project of the UP Center for Women’s Studies (UP CWS), and the UP CWS Foundation, Inc. (UPCWSFI).
Project Kalinga which aims to nurture spaces for the future, is a collaboration between UP BSID Class of 2020 and Kalinga Day Care Center.
This was done by a couple of graduating students as an academic requirement for the ID I79 class, which is a capstone course of the BS Interior Design Program of the UP Diliman Clothing, Textiles and Interior Department (CTID). It involves planning, designing, and execution of the project for a beneficiary collectively chosen by the class.

The areas which have undergone renovation are the reception area, teacher’s room, recreation area, kitchen area, storage room, and toilet.
