Yassi an all out “third wheel”

Mar 2, 2018

In my interview with Yassi Pressman for PSR, she admitted that she gets bashed by some loyal Coco Martin and Julia Montes fans.

Some fans are even jealous that she is now the apple of the eye of the Kapamilya primetime king.

Incidentally, Yassi plays Alyanna, Coco’s wife in ABS-CBN’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

“Nangyayari naman po talaga iyon. Tao rin po naman ako. Kahit pinipili ko po iyong brighter side at maging positive, nasasaktan pa rin po ako,” she said.

“I respect naman po iyong work that was given to me. Thankful po ako sa Dreamscape for the opportunity. Nirerespeto ko rin po iyong iskrip. Kung anuman ang meron kami ni Coco, purely trabaho lang po iyon,” she added.

She’s also thankful that she has Coco’s support.

Sabi ni Coco, huwag ko raw pansinin. Iba na rin naman ang panahon ngayon sa social media kaya dapat maingat tayo,” she shared.

She also dispelled the rumors that Coco’s courting her.

No, that’s not true…Me CocoYass fans, may CocoJul fans. But aside from that, may CocoJam, may CocoBel. And it’s nice that we all try to tell everyone to respect everyone also,” she insisted.

She even said that her work remains her priority and believes that having a love life can wait.

“Sa ngayon po kasi, sobrang focused po talaga ako sa work. Ang dami po kasing blessings na dumarating sa buhay ko ngayon at matagal ko rin pong hinintay ’yung mga pagkakataon po na dumarating po sa akin, ayoko naman po siyang sayangin na mahati rin po ’yung atensyon ko, at mahirap din po naman na half lang ’yung mabibigay mo dito, half lang dito,” she said.

“More of a giver po kasi ako bilang tao, so gusto ko po, ’pag nagbigay ako, buong-buo. So maybe, not now po,” she added.

She’s also flattered to learn that Sam Milby, her leading man in “Ang Pambansang Third Wheel” has a crush on her.

However, entertaining suitors is something far from her mind at the moment, she asseverated.

“Wala pa po sa mindset na ganoon. Hindi pa rin po siguro ngayon. Pag nagmahal siguro ako ngayon, baka mahati ang atensyon ko,” she elucidated.

She also asserted that she’s happy with her real life role as a “third wheel” : a friend, a shoulder to cry on, an advisor, to her family, friends and people that matter to her.

“Na-experience ko na po iyon, kaya nakaka-relate ako. Lagi na lang akong third wheel.

“Minsan, third wheel ako sa Daddy ko, sa Mommy at sa sister ko at sa marami kong kaibigan tulad ng Jadine,” she cited.

She also said that if she’s taking things slowly, it is because she does not want to fall prey to wrong decisions, especially those concerning her love life.

Nakakatakot lang kasi ang magmahal so dapat sure,” she said.

Although she has suitors, she personally prefers to remain uncommitted as far as heart matters are involved.

Very open naman po ako pero pagdating sa ganoong ka-close kasi, it takes a lot. Kailangan mo kasing makilala muna iyong tao,” she concluded.

Yassi plays the role of Trina, a copywriter in an advertising company who gets entangled in a romance with Neo (Sam Milby), an art director with an 8-year old son.
